My Silver Surfer Design in 3D

I made this original 3D model based on my body measurements when I competed in Mr. Universe at Caesar Palace in Las Vegas. Most 3D designers do not have a clue of symmetry, muscle balance and posing because they are not bodybuilders and it takes a whole philosophy in life to develop that lifestyle. Thanks Chris Dickerson for being my friend and my mentor for 25 years and I guess I can dedicate this design to my first workout partner at Gold’s Gym, the great NFL football player Lyle Alzado.

Geek Kingdom – Big Bang Tees

This is my tribute design to celebrate the geek world. Or rather the geek kingdom full of superhero dreams, including mine. I hesitated to call it Geekyland because it sounds akward. It is our Geek Kingdom built in mathematics, computer science, astronomy, physics, chemistry, ipods, laptops and coffee. There are 11 kingdoms according to the TV series, The 11th Kingdom. I guess we need to add our geek land now, The 12th Kingdom.

Supermassive Black Hole – Big Bang Tees

This is a fractal design I created mathematically with sines and cosines factors based on a photo of a nebula black hole. Then, it was vectorized for high-resolution color printing on t-shirts.

Tron Neon Logo – Big Bang Tees

I love logos of any kind. There are designs to brand your lifestyle and personality more effectively. This one is from the film Tron and it is the logo of the player’s uniform. His metallic neon suit  reminds of another great movie, Rollerball, that was produced in 1975 and directed by Norman Jewison. I wouldn’t be surprised if Rollerball influenced Tron. Rollerball is a film based in a ultra-violent sport in a corporate controlled future. One of my favorite quotes from Rollerball is said by the great actor John Houseman, ‘Players do not have an individual personality in the game. They are part of the game and they can be replaced at anytime. Only the game is important to the people and to the corporations.’
